Work with a Porcelanosa Kitchen Designer

Schedule an appointment to work with a Porcelanosa Kitchen Designer. Our kitchen designers are trained to help you bring your kitchen remodel project to life.

Initial Consultation

We invite you to visit our showroom to review your remodeling or new construction plans and discuss design possibilities with our in-house kitchen design specialist. There is no fee associated with a preliminary consultation and walk-ins are always welcome. In this consultation you will be able to see our many options available as well as understand our design and manufacturing processes. With your input, by the end of this meeting, the Porcelanosa kitchen design specialist will have enough information to move forward to the next stage.

Preparation of Preliminary Budget Estimate

With a rough plan or layout of your kitchen area, we can develop a fairly accurate budget estimate for your cabinetry. An architect or interior designer’s plans are preferable, but a simple layout will work as well. A sufficient plan should include wall dimensions, location of windows and doors, as well as ceiling height. Kitchen design and development of drawings, upon your approval of the estimate, require a $2,500 design retainer to move forward in the development of the final design. This one-time fee is also applied to the final purchase price of your cabinetry and kitchen furniture at the time of ordering. Our in-house kitchen designer will then generate the full cabinetry fabrication drawings for your kitchen. At this stage, the Porcelanosa kitchen designer will field measure and inspect the job site, gathering relevant information. Detailed drawings of your final cabinetry layout and design will then be finalized.

Ordering Cabinetry

Once the cabinetry plan is completed and approved, a deposit of 50% (less the initial design retainer) will be required to order the cabinetry from Spain. This balance is due prior to the delivery of your cabinetry. Lead-time for cabinetry delivery is 10-14 weeks. At this point your kitchen designer will review the design and ensure our cabinets will accommodate appliances and plumbing fixtures selected.

Installation

A typical installation is likely to take between five and ten days depending on the size and scope of the project. During installation, our design team visits the site as often as necessary to oversee and remain in close contact with the cabinetry installers, your contractors and address any concerns you might have.

Post Installation

When the installation of your new kitchen has been completed, your Porcelanosa kitchen designer will meet with you to familiarize you with your new space, the appliances and to confirm that all the requirements that were discussed originally have been met.
