VITAE – The Exclusive Bathroom Collection from Noken and Zaha Hadid Design

Porcelanosa is pleased to debut their collaboration with Zaha Hadid Design for the innovative VITAE collection. The VITAE collection consists of toilets, shelving, faucets, washbasins and a bathtub that have an avant-garde and dynamic appearance. Zaha Hadid Design was influenced by the element of water and used it as the inspiration behind VITAE, the new bathroom collection that has been created for Noken – a Porcelanosa Group company.

The VITAE collection was recently unveiled during iSalone de Mobile in Milan, and as a result was the winner of the iNovo Design Award. Visitors were able to see a mesmerizing display of the collection, which displayed how nature and design can be combined together, and preview the pieces from the collection. Some of the ideas behind VITAE’s design include the element of water, the relation of water to sea shells, how sea shells perform well in water, and how water flows through everything.

Dame Zaha Hadid was an influential architect who revolutionized the industry with her fluid and groundbreaking designs. Porcelanosa will be awarding Zaha Hadid Design with a special tribute award during their 9th Annual Architecture & Interior Design Awards, which will be happening at the end of May.
