Porcelanosa Hotel & Hospitality Projects
Porcelanosa’s products are constantly being used throughout the hospitality design community. The company is consistently creating new products that can be used outside of the realm of residential design. Learn more about some of Porcelanosa’s collaboration with different hotel projects below!
Virgin Hotel
Porcelanosa tiles and hardwood can be found in the newly opened Virgin Hotel in Chicago, IL. Porcelanosa especially redesigned their Retro Blanco tile for the Virgin Hotel and changed its color from white to the brand’s vibrant red color. The Retro Rojo tile was used sporadically throughout the hotel’s chamber bathrooms. The hotel also features Porcelanosa’s Classic Espiga Ebano hardwood in one of its restaurants. The Classic Espiga Ebano is laid out in a herringbone pattern throughout The Common Club’s bar, kitchen, and dining areas.
Radisson Blu
The Radisson Blu hotel, located in Bloomington, Minnesota features Porcelanosa’s KRION® Solid Surface Material in its lobby and entrance of the upstairs grill and cocktail bar. The KRION® panels were utilized to form an eye-catching feature wall that greets guests as soon as they enter the building. The geometric forms made of KRION® panels create a futuristic space reminiscent of blocks of ice. A modern lighting effect was also created by projecting light in the room onto the panels.
Microtel
Linkfloor Hotel Air Walnut was used in the redesign of the guest rooms in the Microtel Inns & Suites franchise located in York, Maine. The Linkfloor Hotel Air collection has been developed specifically for commercial projects. Porcelanosa’s Linkfloor products are made entirely out of vinyl and feature different patterns and textures. The Hotel Air collection looks identical to hardwood, but is resistant to scratching, impacts, water, stains and chemical products – making it a great product to be used in hospitality design projects and commercial spaces.
