Porcelanosa Featured by Architizer

Porcelanosa was recently featured in one of Architizer’s articles. The article entitled Solid-Surface Facades: How One Company Puts Its Own Product to the Test, focuses on the opening of Porcelanosa’s 3,000 sq. ft. showroom located in Houston, Texas. The showroom features a facade entirely made out of our KRION® Solid Surface Material.

KRION® Solid Surface has numerous advantages, and is one of Porcelanosa’s signature products. This nonporous material can easily be molded into different shapes, and adapts to a wide range of environments. KRION® is extremely resistant to frost, fire, chemicals, stains, graffiti and is very easy to clean, maintain, and repair.

While KRION® is typically used for countertops, bathtubs, sinks, vanities, and other interior applications, the Porcelanosa Houston Showroom pushes the material past these traditional uses by incorporating it into its ventilated facade.

Learn more about the showroom’s creative design, featuring perforated and backlit KRION® panels on Architizer’s website.
