Incorporating Classic Blue Into Your Designs

Recently, Pantone announced that the 2020 Color Of The Year is Classic Blue. Pantone’s color predictions influence fashion, interior design, product design and more. While it may be considered as a non-conventional color to incorporate into a project, blue is an incredibly versatile color and can be easily paired with other colors and materials – such as marble, wood, concrete, stone, and more. Porcelanosa has an array of products that can help you achieve this unique color trend in your next design project.

For a simple splash of blue, try incorporating a blue vanity in your bathroom. Many of Porcelanosa’s vanities (including the Last and Icon vanities) feature cabinetry that can be available in a blue hue. Try making a statement in your bathroom by pairing blue cabinetry with a crisp, white marble countertop or sink. Porcelanosa also has KRION® Solid Surface material that can be used to create a custom countertop or sink in the color of your choice.

You can try adding a pop of color to your room by using a solid blue tile, such as Rhombus Blue (featured above) or Malaga Ocean, as a backsplash or feature wall.

You can also try to use a decorative tile that features blue lines and patterns within it. A perfect example would be our Antique Silver or Barcelona C tiles. Both of these tiles have cool base colors, which allows for their unique blue patterns and swirls to stand out on them and easily add the color into your room.

For a product that utilizes multiple shades of blue, try one of our mosaics – such as Glaze Wave Blue or Colors Aluminium Space. You can create a fashionable, monochromatic space by mixing and matching multiple shades of blue.
