An Evening of Cocktails & Conversation in Downtown Las Vegas
Porcelanosa partnered with Bunnyfish Studio of Las Vegas to present an evening of Cocktails and Conversations in Downtown Las Vegas. On May 4, Bunnyfish Studio transformed from architectural firm to an interactive panel space and venue. Porcelanosa and Bunnyfish Studio hosted over one hundred guests from around the area to sip cocktails, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, take part in exclusive tours of the Neon Museum, and listen to a panel discussion on the revitalization of Downtown Las Vegas, featuring design visionaries and thought leaders from the world’s preeminent hotel brands.
The panel discussion, hosted by Glenn Haussman from the No Vacancy podcast, featured Mari Balestrazzi (Vice President of Americas Design Services -Hyatt Hotels), David Bowd (Chief Executive – Salt Hotels), Leo Eskenazi (Sr. Director of Design – Latin American and Caribbean, Hilton), Linda Laucirica (Sr. Director, Lifestyle Full Service- Global Design Americas), Kevin O’Shea (Creative Director, Salt Hotels), Craig Sean Palacios (Principal – Bunnyfish Studio), Tina Wichmann (Principal – Bunnyfish Studio), and Gary Steffen (Global Head – Canopy by Hilton).
Throughout the rest of the evening, guests were bussed to and from the nearby Neon Museum for exclusive tours of the museums popular collection of iconic neon signs. The Neon Museum Visitors Center’s distinctive shell-shaped building was designed by acclaimed architect Paul Revere Williams. The repurposed original La Concha Motel lobby is a striking example of Mid-Century modern design characterized by Atomic and Space Age shapes and motifs.
