At Home With Porcelanosa

We at Porcelanosa always love seeing designers’ and homeowners’ creativity on display when they combine our products in countless different ways. For that reason, we’ve compiled a huge residential gallery so you can derive inspiration from real projects that employ our tile, counter materials, kitchen cabinetry, bath vanities, faucet and shower fittings.

Have a look:

KITCHENS

This kitchen remodel in California features the Residence line of cabinetry in the Roble Ahumado laminate. You can get a similar look with Roble Pardo. The upper cabinets are in glossy-white Blanco Snow laminate. The neutral flooring is Ferroker Niguel.

This project uses Krion countertops as a crisp waterfall frame around the base cabinetry, which comes also comes from the Residence line in Etimoe Night. The Blanco Snow upper cabinets echo the Krion surface, forming yet another frame around the dimensional Mosaico Rodano Acero backsplash.

You can always opt for more color in your kitchen with our large selection of glossy cabinet finishes. This fun kitchen utilizes cherry-red gloss cabinets and anti-fingerprint stainless finishes against a textured Ona White Matt backsplash. The Emotions line currently offers a full spectrum of similarly bright colors, while Cement Brillo finishes in Laminate and Gloss in the residence line approximates the stainless surface. BATHS

Bathrooms are great spaces where you can go in many different directions, and we’re particularly impressed with how designers have employed dramatically patterned and textured tile in the mix. This private residence in California is a study in all these applications with five bathrooms, each in a different style. The main bath is wrapped in the dark, marble-like Savage Dark Nature porcelain.

Another bath in the same house features the wave-like Duna Sand and another is in Deli Sand – both against a Century vanity. A fourth repeats the Deli Sand but against a custom vanity, while the fifth features the wood-look Lexington Maple as a dramatic backdrop for the Edge vanity and Urban single-control faucet in a black finish.

BEDROOM

XTONE’s Kala White Nature serves as a unifying force in this breathtaking master suite in East Islip, New York, where there are no visual barriers between the bedroom, bath, and dressing area. A similar available look is XTONE’s Aria White Nature.

HOME OFFICE

Don’t forget other rooms in the house where you might want to use surface material, such as this handsome home office in Colorado, which uses XTONE’s Savage Dark Nature as a custom desk and built-in surface, which ties in with the kitchen bar counter.

FIREPLACE

Fireplace surrounds provide an excellent opportunity to go in almost any direction with tile. This one in DC, though it’s all white, sets the stylistic tone for an urban abode through the movement of Wave White ceramic. The use of Eden 1L wood-look floor tile throughout provides a beautiful ground. Currently, Forest Cognac would be a good similar choice.

TRADITIONAL TOUCHES

Though many of our customers approach us for their contemporary and modern designs, Porcelanosa carries tile and accessories that provide beautiful traditional accents, like this backsplash in a New Jersey kitchen, set amidst a contemporary design, but the Antique Blue pattern marries well with the home’s otherwise traditional architecture.

This home in Florida, meanwhile, beautifully uses Porcelanosa tile in the kitchen and master bedroom of a traditional island-style home. The master bath’s Victorian Diamond Marmara-Mirror is a gorgeous backsplash against a contemporary lacquered mirror in an antique-shaped frame.

INDUSTRIAL VIBE

Minimalists with a flair for drama will find wonderful options with Porcelanosa, just as these owners did for their Philadelphia loft. They used cement-like tile throughout – even in the nursery – that’s similar to our current Baltimore Natural large-format tile. Krion’s Snow White covers the kitchen counters and Lounge faucets are used in the bathrooms, while the tile truly stands out. One bath is swathed in stunning metallic Sea Silver, while the master bath gets subtle movement through Oxo Line. Two other baths get texture from Madagascar Beige – similar to our current Old Beige – and Madison Nacar.

EXTERIOR APPLICATIONS

There are myriad possibilities to dress up your outdoor surfaces, from terraces to the siding on your home. This Seattle project contrasts light and dark, with pale Aged Clay Nature tile along the lakeside terrace and Nox Corten Nature, which carries from the exterior siding into a dramatic fireplace wall in the family room.

This home in Colorado is remarkably different in style yet uses the same light-dark approach on the outside, blending Deep White Antislip on the façade and also on the patio mixed with Deep Grey and Deep Light Grey – all against a material mix of metal and wood siding.
