Join Us At: HD Americas, Miami – Sep 16th And 17th
Porcelanosa participated in the HD Americas Trade Show in Miami on September 16th -17th.
We exhibited our latest façade innovations and designs to attendees of the conference. Porcelanosa concentrated on two specific products at the HD Americas event in Miami.
KRION® is a new generation solid surface developed by Porcelanosa. It is a material that is warm to the touch and similar to natural stone. Its exclusive solid surface formula allows us to create the most versatile shapes for the most diverse applications. Krion® is an ecological material, as it is 100% recyclable. All products made of KRION® can be reprocessed and reused in the production cycle. Porcelanosa has most recently been using its Krion® solid surface material to create facades.
Porcelanosa facades are designed to maximize energy savings and noise reduction while still preserving the beauty of the structure. Both Porcelanosa’s bonded and ventilated facades also help to preserve heat in colder months and keep the building cooler in warmer months.
Porcelanosa’s ventilated facades are the only building systems in the United States to obtain the ICC-ES certification for installing these systems with porcelain stoneware. The certification endorses the thermal and damp resistance in the ventilated façade system ensuring that all materials used are complacent with ANSI standards of market quality.
XLIGHT is a new type of large format tile – up to 118″ x 40″ – that is extremely thin – as low as 1/8″ – created by using the latest technological advances in ceramic production. It is ideal for use in refurbishment projects as it keeps labor costs to a minimum. It is a highly versatile choice, suitable for tiling living spaces from top to bottom, including the possibility of features like “concealed” doors or wardrobes.
